To build a society where all abilities are valued

The Society for Total Education (STE) exists to influence the recognition and development of the full range  of a person’s academic and non-academic gifts, abilities and potential – from conception, through the early years, the whole education system and into work.  To learn more about our aims, and what we stand for, please look at our Manifesto.

Our next online EDUCATION CAFÉs®.
17 May – Robin Balbernie : the importance of the first two years of life
21 June – Prof. Amanda Kirby : Neurodiversity – a positive framing for the 21st Century – moving from labels to people – the impact and challenges to create success

STE believes in the importance of the earliest years of a child’s life. It is the time to ignite the latent sparks of interest into the fires of knowledge and understanding. We believe the separate stages of formal education should then work more seamlessly with their neighbours on one continuous learning journey – a Circle of Education®.
